Grants of up to 150,000 hryvnias are available for young entrepreneurs.

📝Within the framework of the “Own business” program, young entrepreneurs will be able to receive a grant of up to 150,000 hryvnias for opening their own business.

💰Grants of up to 150,000 hryvnias can be received by young entrepreneurs under the age of 25 with the obligation to register as a sole proprietorship. At the same time, it will not be necessary to create jobs for them. However, after three years, such an entrepreneur will once again be able to receive a grant from the state under the “Own business” program on general terms in the amount of up to 250,000 hryvnias, if he creates at least 2 jobs.

The government has approved new changes regarding receiving a grant under the “Own Business” program and its veteran component.

What’s new in the program?

✔️A NEW GRANT SIZE IS ADDED:

the possibility of receiving a micro-grant in the amount of 75 thousand hryvnias is being introduced, subject to the obligation to register as a non-profit organization and without the obligation to create new jobs.

✔️ BENEFITS FOR KHARKIV Oblast:

the maximum amount of the grant is increased by 100% for recipients who conduct or plan to conduct business activities in the city of Kharkiv and the Kharkiv region.

✔️ WAR RISKS OF LOSS OF PROPERTY ARE DETAILED:

in case of documentary confirmation by the authorized bodies of destruction, complete loss of the property donated by the recipient with grant funds as a result of armed aggression of the Russian Federation, the amount of the micro-grant is not subject to return.

EXPANSION OF THE DEFINITION OF “COMBAT PARTICIPANT”:

inclusion in the category of combatants of persons from volunteer formations who took part in military operations.

✔️ADDITIONAL REQUIREMENTS FOR GRANT APPLICATIONS:

in applications, it is now necessary to indicate information about belonging to the categories of persons with disabilities or internally displaced persons.

✔️CHANGE OF THE DECISION-MAKING PROCEDURE ON GRANTS:

added the possibility of changing the target purpose of the grant by submitting a corresponding application to the regional employment center or through the recipient’s office on the Diya Portal.

Up to UAH 8 million, provided that at least 25 jobs are created.

FOR WHOM?

✔️ future entrepreneurs;

✔️ active PE or legal entities

who do not stay and do not conduct economic activity in the temporarily occupied territory of Ukraine;

who do not conduct economic activity on the territory of Russia;

which are not under sanctions;

in respect of which no bankruptcy proceedings have been initiated;

in respect of which there is no court decision on criminal liability for corruption;

which have no debt to the budget.

FOR WHAT PURPOSES CAN THE GRANT BE SPENT?

purchase of basic means of production (machines, technological equipment);

commissioning of machines, technological equipment;

delivery of purchased machines, technological equipment.

CONDITIONS

If you receive a grant, you have:

create from 25 jobs;

to carry out activities for at least 3 years;

to pay taxes to the budget, in particular, for the employment of workers.

If you receive a grant, you have:

create at least one workplace;

to carry out activities for at least 3 years;

to pay taxes to the budget, in particular, for the employment of workers.
